'Children of the Sky' was a personal project I made during the summer of 2024. As a kid, I was always a fan books involving mythologies from different countries. The fantastical book covers were one of the reasons that drew me to them which was why I wanted to try a hand when it came to making my own book cover.
This project came to be as a way for me to apply a traditional painting I made in my free time inspired by the Filipino mythology of a dragon named 'Bakunawa'.
