Meet Cass, Mylio, and Sela; your new friends in Ripley's Aquarium!
Ripley's Aquarium has always been a place of learning and discovery but with your new friends from the sea,  summer might just be a bit more fun. Whether it be learning the nature of jellyfish with Cass, meeting the Stingrays for the first time with Mylio, or facing your fears with Sela; Ripley and friends are sure to make this summer the best one yet!

Process Work

Ripley’s Aquarium and every other museum that they own usually market to children, so I wanted to emulate that approach as well. Combine that idea with my chosen feature:diverse galleries with different kinds of sea creatures, I decided to highlight the connection kids have with the spectacles before them. The best approach that I came up with was to use mascots/characters that serve as a medium for relatability. If we were to market to kids with shorter attention spans, then making them care about these ‘characters’ might help retain the advertisement to their memory.
